We got a few words from John earlier today. "I'm looking forward to joining up with Thatcham for the run in period of the season where I'm sure it's everyone's main aim to win the league and I hope that I can help that happen."
Manager Danny Robinson also commented. "Firstly I would like to welcome John to the club and of course we are very happy he has decided to come here especially when he was well sought after. His record speaks for itself and lets hope that record continues with us which I am sure it will. As well as his goals, he brings a wealth of experience of this level and above to our changing room."
Danny would also like to place on record his thanks to Banbury United for their help in this transfer and for waving the 7 day period. He'd also like to thank Director of Football Stuart Bailey for getting this through today.
Weather permitting Mills will be available this weekend against AFC Totton.
From all of us here at Thatcham, welcome to the club John.
