Josh Edwards who previously played the the club at Youth level and most recently at Step 4 with Basingstoke Town, has come on board to join Jamie and his new exciting team.

Position: Centre Half
Previous clubs: Youth Team with the Kingfishers winning Most Improved Player in their 2013-14 season, old Hellenic adversaries Flackwell Heath and most recently Southern League rivals Basingstoke Town.

Josh has played against Reading U23s in the B&B Senior Cup in the 2018-19 season and last season against Slough in FA cup and despite losing 3-0 in the 2nd Qualifying Round

An avid Arsenal supporter, his favourite player back in the day was King of Highbury Thierry Henry. He now looks up to Liverpool’s Virgil Van Dijk and Real Madrid’s ever present Sergio Ramos and considers them the best Centre Backs he’s ever seen

“I signed for Thatcham Town FC because I was here through the ranks in the Youth Team and even played a couple of First Team games in 2014-15. I want to be there with the new changes and have loved the club since being a teen and am excited in coming back"
